*** Dani is in a foster home. ***Brown tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 8/1/23, #18974Cats: needs an energetic friend Dogs: unknown Children: great!Dani was found by one of our volunteers who feeds a regular route of homeless cats. Dani marched up to her wanting attention as well as food! With no guardian able to be located, he moved into Rescue House foster care and is now seeking his forever people.Dani needs LOTS of attention and LOTS of love! This boy is incredibly eager to get your attention and be near you at all times. He will meow for your pets and cuddles and his purr motor is running before your hand makes contact. He is a huge ham and will greet guests with gusto, running up and then rolling over for them to pet his belly. So many people remark on his outgoing friendly nature. Dani will bring his little mice toys from all over the house and deliver them straight to your lap as a present. He is very playful and has a lot of rambunctious energy to go with his enthusiasm for... everything. Most of all, he wants people around At All Times. He'll be there with you on the couch, cuddling in bed, in your lap at the desk, engaging during gametime, in your arms being carried around... Dani will sometimes cry when he gets separated from you, and he will wait outside doors for you to return (so don't expect bathroom privacy).Dani would do best in a home with plenty of activity and people so he is never lonely or bored. He is a little too pesky in your face for older and more sedentary cats who prefer to be left alone or who can't match his energy. He needs an energetic kitty buddy who is ready to romp and wrestle. Kids who can play with Dani would be great. We haven't observed him around dogs, though given his overall nature we suspect he could do well with cat-savvy canines who won't mind a cat with no concept of personal space.Dani will make whatever home he goes to extremely happy. This friendly fellow is puppy-like in his adoration of all people and the way he follows you around.
